In the early days, we used to go to Spain for our holidays. The shops were often closed because of festivities, making us sigh that Spain has no other days than fiestas.
Now we are in France and had no idea today was a free day for the French. ? All shops closed! It’s Pentecost. BTW, a holiday that doesn’t exist in Spain.
Luckily we passed a market so we were able to buy fruit for tomorrow’s breakfast.
