One thing we definitely have to get used to in Spain is the noise. Spanish children are brought up with noise. Schools have loudspeakers that blare music in the moments before school and in the breaks.
That has an advantage though. In the Netherlands, the school bell rings 5 minutes before and once the moment the school starts. So if you miss one, you never know which bell you hear. Over here I guess people can be assured they are not too late as long as the music plays.
