A standard question in every house we were in: “How is the internet?”
The answer was an also-standard: “Oh, it works like a charm!”
Well, I know by now that we are very spoiled with the internet we had in the Netherlands. Fast, hardly any interruptions, reliable.
The reason for the enthusiasm over here is probably that those people do nothing more than check Facebook, send a WhatsApp, or watch an occasional YouTube video.
My work consists of working on my websites, sending files to my business partner, or uploading videos. Which takes a-a-a-ages.
What you see above is the receiver. It’s connected with the router inside. The only thing good about it is that the owner can let it be switched on or off depending on the tenants. So it’s an advantage for her, not for us.
