I have a little headache. Today we went a day out with the nietos (our two grandsons) and our son. First we went to the Museo Nacional de Arqueología Subacuática in Cartagena. There are all kinds of interactive features and the boys loved it.
After that, we went to the Centro Commercial Espacio Mediterráneo, which is on the outskirts of Cartagena. We dined at a restaurant which served too much food, as is unfortunately often the case in Spain.
Then came the long-anticipated ordeal, because we had to go shopping. The smallest nieto needed some shirts and shorts. Well, shopping is no ordeal for me, I like it, and for the boys, the shopping mall is like an oversized playground. Besides, a flying crow always catches something.
When shirts and shorts were found and paid for we went to my favorite bookshop, the Casa de Libro (it’s the first shop at your right in the picture). For the eldest, we bought his first, and THE first, Astérix: Astérix el Gallo. Everybody was happy.
Although, this still doesn’t explain my slight headache. It must be from the radioactive contamination at the Diputación de Hondón, which is at a stone’s throw away from the centro commercial.
